May 9, 2011 English 123 Revise Draft 3 Identity as Language English is an international language which is used officially all around the world.  Learning English is difficult because we are not native speakers. The people born in the  United States have struggles speaking English because it’s complex of a language. It is  necessary to attend classes at the level of education you fit in, to help develop ourselves  to adapt in the American culture and learn the language. When us, bilingual speakers,  speak we have to worry about how we enunciate the words right and have to worry  about using different strategies to get the idea out.  I’ve been in the United States since I was three years old. I’ve gone through a lot  of obstacles to adapt in the American culture and learn how to speak non-broken  English. Don’t get me wrong, the process of learning English was an exciting experience  for me. It was a new journey down my path to be living in the American dream. It  reminded me that the struggles and obstacles I went through was a learning experience.  It just took me all through middle and high school to finally start becoming a fluent  English speaker. Recently, I realized I faced difficulties with the way I speak. I’ve noticed I still have  a hard time enunciating some words together like, “Real World.” When I was gossiping
