Lab 1 Error Propagation: Volumes Monday 6:20-8:10pm Abstract In this lab, Vernier calipers were used to measure the dimensions of the shape. In order to get the hollow cylinder’s volume, diameter and height are not the only things that need to measure. The thickness of the shape on each side is also need to measure. Then find the whole cylinder’s volume to minis the volume of the empty space inside the cylinder. The data that measured will be used to calculate the volume of the shapes. The error propagation will be calculated through the volume formulas of the shapes. By using the error propagation will give a more accurate result for the shapes’ volume.
