1. In this essay, the primary audience is high school students’ parents. This essay also lets the audience know that fast-food jobs is not meaningful work experience because they do not teach teenagers the skills and habits they will need for fulfilling careers and parent should not look at teen employment as automatically educational. 2. Tradition jobs can provide youngsters opportunities for self-routing, self- supervision self-discipline and etc., but McDonald’s kind of job is highly structured and is very far from those opportunities that tradition jobs have. The reason that the writer mentioned that is to show reasons that why McDonald’s job is bad for teenagers and teenagers cannot get anything out of this job other than money. 3. All statistics are truth and only published after researches, so the statistics that the writer used give him a strong support on his argument that McDonald’s job is bad for youngsters. The working for students are too long, a third of them work more than 30
