Chapter 12: 1) A. Should the systems design not be accurate, the implementation may be missing key needs of the system. It would be very expensive to fix issues at this point compared to fixing them at a much earlier point. B. With a poor system design, the system may not be as useable as it was intended and users may not fully utilize the new system. The lifetime would be affected because of the improper or inabilities and require the system to be replaced pre- maturely. C. The people in charge of the design may not be utilized for future projects should the systems design be inaccurate. It may also cause the process of future implementations to be judged inaccurately and some employees and management may consider it a waste of time to go through the process again because it didn’t work previously. 2) Skills that are important to a systems design include: A. Communication including presentation B. Analytical and critical thinking C. Technical including software development and hardware
