1. Systems analysis defines the overall structure and goals of the project. It is the identification of current systems and designing a solution to meet the goals of the new system. Systems analysis consists of four phases. To produce a systems proposal that will trigger the design, construction and implementation of the proposal. In order to do this, the systems analyst will define the objectives of the system, identify problems of the existing system, obtain the requirements of the new system and identify the business areas that need to change. 2. The focus of the early phases of the project was very brief. A proposal was created as to what the current situation is and what a possible solution was. There was very little input particularly from the stakeholders such as the end-users. It was written in very high level without much detail on how to resolve the issues. Technology concerns are being avoided because at this point they are still gathering the business requirements. 3.
