UGS 302 Information Literacy Exercise Due:  Friday 9/2 11:59 p.m.* (First-Year) *Submit on Blackboard Evaluating Internet Websites  I. SMALL RESEARCH EXERCISE  – Bring your findings from the Chinese  philosophical thought “research” exercise to present in class on Monday 8/29.  (Sign up for one of possible lines of inquiry class on 8/26.) II. WEBSITE EVALUATION ASSIGNMENT Late assignments will be deducted half a grade for each day past the due date. Submit on BB under Assignments by Friday 9/2 11:59 p.m. Write a formal report (1½ - 2 pages, double-space, .doc or .docx format) that  evaluates how websites addressed your inquiry (from above Exercise I).  Take  into consideration the points and questions raised in the Website Evaluation  Guidelines.   Take a look at two websites that you used to address different aspects of your  inquiry.  Consider each of the criteria below in this written evaluation.   In this case, you are not expected to judge scholarly authority/accuracy in how  the topic is addressed.
