Assignment: Amazon Evolution 2 Amazon’s strategy to “revolutionize retailing” (Rainer, Turban, Splettstoesser-Hogeterp, & Sanchez-Rodriguez, 2008) to become the largest bookseller in the virtual world, has been in question even though they remain the largest online retailer. However, Amazon has not moved away from their core competency, instead they have continued to grow. With a few slight downfalls along the way; this is in part due to the ‘fall’ of the United States’ economy. When compared to Wal-Mart’s operating margins it is somewhat unfair to compare Amazon to this. The reason is because Amazon is an online retail store where Wal-Mart has retail stores located across the United States resulting in thousands of stores. Where consumers are able to physically go into the store and purchase the item(s) immediately taking those items home the same day, whereas Amazon you may have paid for the item(s) immediately, but the consumer has to wait for the items to be shipped.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
