The culture dates back tens of thousands of years!!! Prior to 1788 Australia consisted of only the Indigenous people (Aboriginal and Torres Straight Settlers.) at that time there were over 750k people that spoke about 700 different languages. However, today there are only about 410k (2% of the Australian population). Prior to European settlers, the Indigenous were hunters and gathers. They did not have horses and carriages, or tall buildings or farms. Instead they were skillful in their hunting and harvesting, take caution to not over harvest anything and making certain to use every part of the animals....
