The distance between two points on a number line, or graph defines its interval. An interval is a set of real numbers between real numbers . I am not really sure what you are asking for in this question specifically so I am going to try to answer all of the possiblke questions, I hope this is ok. On the number line we would graph this with a solid line and filled end points showing

You can also add square brackets to the number line showing also that these points are included, but that they stop at that point on the line....
