Guide for Works Cited A “Works Cited” or “References” or “Bibliography” is a list of all the sources you employed while  doing your research. For this research paper, you need to have 8 additional sources (books and journal articles only)  besides the assigned readings that are related to your topic. You must list them in alphabetical order! Book: Last name, First name.  Title of book . Place of publication: Publisher, date. For example: Nguyen, Tram. We Are All Suspects Now: Untold Stories from Immigrant Communities after  9/11.  Boston: Beacon Press, 2005. Note: if it goes into the second line, you must have a 5 space indentation. Edited book: Last name, First name  ed . Title of book.  Place of publication: Publisher, date. For example: Cabezon, Jose, ed.  Buddhism, Sexuality, and Gender
