Unformatted text preview: ME 200: Thermodynamics I Spring 2011 Division 1 Additional Class Policy and Procedures Instructor: Sameer Naik Office: ME 90 Phone: 496-2183 Email: [email protected] Lecture Time: MWF 1:30 to 2:20 pm (ME 161) Office Hours: MWF 3:30 to 4:30 pm; Other times email for appointment 1. Be on time for class and be prepared to give your full attention to the lecture. Be prepared to participate in class discussions and to ask and to answer questions. Do not converse with your neighbors, do not read the Exponent , and do not work on homework during class. Those disrupting class in any manner will be asked to leave for that day. 2. Please feel free to ask questions at any time during the lecture. I may respond immediately or may ask you to wait if any discussion is in progress. Raise your hand to ask question. 3. Homework will be collected at the beginning of every Friday’s class. Once the lecture has started, I will not accept homework. You must follow the solution format outlined in Item 5 completely to receive full credit. Homework solutions (except special problems) will be posted outside ME 161. 4. I may call on you to answer a question during lecture and these questions may come from the assigned reading. My goal is to determine (a) that your mental attention is in class, and (b) that you are reading textbook before the lecture....
