Leverette 1 Lacey Leverette Ms. Helena Brigman English 1001, Section 108 14 June 2010 Journal #2 on Podcasting After a week of discussing podcasting in English 1001, I decided that I would like to become a part of the Stuff Mom Never Told You genre. I decided I wanted to do this podcast because I was drawn to this one the most and it has all the hot topics. All of the topics in this podcast are fun and crazy, yet truthful, which I really enjoyed. I think I could play a pretty sufficient part in this podcast genre because I am very honest and I love discussing topics similar to the ones that I have heard from this podcast. Also, I am obsessed with cosmopolitan and this podcast, in my opinion, is just like cosmopolitan except it is presented in a different form.

We decided to do this topic because so many girls take up a ridiculous amount of time and spend an insane amount of money to get dolled up for guys but is all that really making a difference? This is what my group and I are going to try to find out. I think that all the podcasts are going to be interesting when we listen to them in class. When we discussed all the ideas we wanted to do everyone seemed interested to know what the other group was going to come up with to present their topic....
