MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY 2 Medical Technology With the changing demand of clients, medical technology changes with them. Clinics Have obligations to our patients. To ensure the obligations are met we need to upgrade our systems. These upgrades will help make the process of visiting their family doctor smoother. Organization is the key to a smooth office visit. As a business steps need to be made to ensure the safety of the cliental. This network has 15 physicians and 100 support staff. Currently there are only nine computers in place for the staff, in which only six are for the doctors. To protect the patients privacy and the accuracy of their records their needs to be a computer for each doctor and 30 computers for the support staff for the support staff. Each of the three clinics should be housing at least 15 computers. The computers for the support staff will have limited information accessible to them. With the use of an appropriate number of computers we will need to save on space. Our patient records are still on paper. We need to input all of the clients files into the computer and save them within our network. This will make the files accessible to all the doctors within our network. It will also make it more accessible for hackers to access the files; this is why all of the files need to be encrypted, and password protected. The clinics will need to hire on an information technology specialist full time to upkeep the network. Health Insurance Portability

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
