Bignell Week 6 Check Point o What everyday changes, if any, might you make to increase the amount of energy expended in your day-to-day activities? I found that when I did my three day analysis that I get adequate exercise. I was surprised to find this out. I bike to the local pool with the kids three times a week. On the other days I go for walks after meals. o What types and amounts of exercise would work best for you? I have a hard time with every day exercise, as I have asthma. I found that I need to exercise in moderation. I enjoy walking, biking, and swimming. When doing these activities I find that I cannot do them for more than 15 minutes without going into a asthma attack. What works for me is to take short 5 minute breaks and have plenty of

If not, can you suggest alternative activities and locations for inclement weather? I live in Minnesota, where it is cold for about six months and extremely hot for three months. The weather is only suitable for outside exercise about three months a year. I cannot bike year round. I do swim year round, in the summer months I take our family to the aquatic center, and in the winter we go to one of the local hotels and use their pool. . When it is too hot, or cold to go outside I walk around our apartment complex, or go to the Mall of America to walk....
