One A Day Woman’s exceeds the amount of vitamins needed a day for an adult. Looking into my diet I can see that a multivitamin would be more harmful to me than helpful. I try to keep a healthy diet with a balance of vegetables, fruits, dairy, and meats. I found that when I was pregnant and taking the prenatal vitamin I was sick all the time. When consulting with my doctor he decided that I was receiving too many vitamins. He suggested stop taking the vitamins. People that do not have a balance of vitamins in their diet these vitamin supplements can be beneficial to them, but they also need to be careful that they do not receive too much of a vitamin. Some of these multivitamins can take your daily dose of different vitamins to toxic levels. Toxicity can cause a number of medical problems. Some of the problems are gastrointestinal problems, diarrhea, vomiting,
