Unformatted text preview: Economics 304K Introduction to Microeconomics Fall 2009 Unique Number: 33665 Instructor: Urmee Khan Office: BRB 2.116 Office Hours: TBA E-mail: [email protected] Textbook: Frank & Bernanke, Principles of Microeconomics , McGraw-Hill, 4 rd Ed., 2009 Communication: Course information, e.g., announcements, syllabus, office hours, handouts and homework will be posted on Blackboard. Homework scores and test results will appear on eGradebook. Evaluation: Letter grades are based on homework scores, exam scores and the score on a student project. There will a homework assigned approximately every two weeks, six of them in total. These assignments will appear on Blackboard. As to the exams, there will be three: two major tests and a comprehensive final exam. The format of the exams will be mainly multiple choice questions. There may be some discussion or calculation questions. The project will be a 2-3 page write-up where the student will be expected to apply one or more of the questions....
