Wilmot 1 Joe Wilmot ENG 101 22059944 Kenlea Pebbles Meta-Writing 1 “My Room’s My Place”, I wrote this with one purpose, to include all five senses in a given environment of my choice. I choose my room because it’s a place that I am usually at, and there are senses that I could easily recognize. How I wrote that paper, was being very descriptive, and using imagery to give the audience a better picture of my room. Writing a paper consist of making choices that are best fitted for the paper to keep the readers interest, such as organizational, transitional, and opening and closing statements. In “My Room’s My Place” I took in account these aspects of writing to try and develop an interesting, descriptive, and well-written paper that talked about the five senses. For my thesis I had an idea of what I wanted to do and applied it to see if it would work. The thesis I had was “Everywhere in my room you can find the five senses from the sound of a keyboard, taste of peanut butter, way my blanket feels, seeing where things are in my room, and how my cologne smells.”(Wilmot 1). What I did was applied all five senses in a list like manor and explained to the reader that I was going to ramble on about my room. Why I did this? It was to try and answer the whole topic of what the paper was
