Prathyusha Yanigandla Economics 201 (Macroeconomics) Assignment 1: President Obama’s Speech President Obama proposes that China and other fast growing nations are building more innovative projects and have employed individuals while America on the other hand, capable of much that is facing unemployment and should strive to be stronger, faster, smarter than those abroad. He refuses to let the nation sit and watch and be pushed back economically while dominated by the other countries. His goal therefore, is to better our road systems and construction that America once prided on and is now falling back, compared to the advancements of the other nations. Thus, opening up new jobs for the nation’s construction works as well as others. At the same time that he is creating more jobs, he wants to cut down on taxes much to the uproar of people. This makes me wonder where he is getting the money from without leading the government into an even bigger deficit. If he prints more money than that can, as proposed, be economically stimulating by
