Valerie Bodden K. 10-0014 Marketing Summary Monday, June 27 th , 2010 Marketing Seminar Summary On June 22 nd Unibe students were presented with the opportunity to learn about brand strategies and the integral communication of marketing through a seminary dictated by an employee from the successful Dominican company Tricom. Throughout this very interesting and didactic seminar, the orator explained several vital points in order to have a correct brand management and a good marketing campaign. Although several points were discussed in the seminar, the first and most basic idea that the orator wanted the audience to keep in mind throughout his presentation was the concept of what a brand truly is. According to the orator, your brand is your promise to the clients; it is what clients will identify your company with. After he thoroughly explained this he moved onto into describing the two notions of brand identity and brand performance. The fundamental difference behind these two is that brand identity can be
