Valerie Bodden Kluge (10-0014) September 17, 2010 Mr. Erik Perez Entorno Laboral en America Latina The BBA group was offered the scarce opportunity to attend a seminar of “Entorno Laboral” dictated by Carlos Romero in which he explained various concepts that are vital when it comes to the survival of a company through time. Ideals such as creative destruction, what becoming obsolete really means, and various necessities that a company faces in order to avoid becoming obsolete. As Mr. Romero explained himself, creative destruction is the process by which new products, and new ways to produce these products, go replacing the prior ones, and in consequence making them obsolete. He mentioned three basic things, amongst others, that can be done in order to avoid this creative destruction. First, the need for companies to enlarge campaigns, the need to provide products and services on a reasonable prices and finally, the need to develop and adapt to the use of tools within the e-business, or business through the internet. It is very important, if you wish for your business to survive over time, to follow these basic steps in order to avoid becoming obsolete.
