What role, if any, does McGregor’s Theory Y play at Patagonia? Explain On one hand, Patagonia wishes to improve and ultimately surpassing its competitors, but on the other side they wish to make their employees feel at home, meaning that they are content with their job. They offer day care center and full medical benefit, amongst other things to keep their employees satisfied. 2. How does Patagonia build human and social capital? It does it by many ways, the most notable one is where they basically loan their employees to environmental groups,. The employee receives two full months off with full pay, while he works in these groups. 3. Which of the seven moral principles in Table 1-5 appear to be in force at Patagonia? Explain Autonomy: Because it helps its personnel reach their ultimate goals in life. Loyalty: Since they offer high-quality goods and extremely good service, they
