Considering that they were in a construction site, in which language tends to be extremely casual and of poor manners, it is somewhat shocking to hear that someone was terminated because of the use of foul language. Although he did address Bacon in a aggressive, irrespective manner, considering how conversations are in a construction site, I believe it is unfair to terminate Behrens because of that. 2) Does it make any difference in the determination of this case that the company president decided to terminate Dirk Behrens before learning of his position as the job site union steward?
