THE CONDUCT OF THIS CLASS and HOW WE WILL COVER THE MATERIAL Our text, McNergney and McNergney, Foundations of Education, is not difficult to read, but each chapter covers a lot of material. To be successful in this class, you must keep current with the reading. As you finish each chapter, I want you to write a one page reaction sheet. In it, I want you to reflect upon what you have just read – how you see yourself being affected by what you have just learned, and how you think it fits into what a teacher needs to know. These, as all written papers, are to be word processed, double spaced, using “Ariel, Times New Roman, or Comic Sans MS”, 12 point
