Joe Wallace Bio 100 Sec 4 Professor Borgeson 9/9/08 Journal Entry # 1 “Is Global Warming Worsening Hurricanes?” By Bryan Walsh September 8, 2008 “Time” The title clearly explains what the basis of the article is about. The change in climate that we are experiencing all around the world is believed to be making the world’s weather abnormal. One of the most obvious changes is the increase in magnitudes of hurricanes all across the world. After “Hurricane Katrina” the world saw the devastation a single hurricane can bring to a country. However, not only are hurricanes destroying the habitat of millions of humans, these hurricanes are ripping up the ocean floor, devastating marine life habitat. Many habitats for essential species in our earth’s oceans are being ruined which could cause an alarming effect for humans on earth.
