1 Gregory Taylor Consumer Behavior The article describes the business agenda of the company Bloom Energy and its goal to revolutionize the way fuel cells are viewed and utilized in the modern age. As mentioned within the article, fuel cells have had a bad rap because of their poor and inefficient performance in the industry. However, as pointed out by Bloom Energy’s CEO KR Sridhar, fuel cells have the potential to become the most efficient and affordable means of energy distribution. Though it may be many years down the road before fuel cells reach their full potential, they cannot be disregarded because of past its past failures and poor reputation. Sridhar claims that direct chemical fuel to electrical generation is the key to fuel cells’ efficiency. Comparatively, today’s method of electrical generation includes an inordinate amount of steps that hinder efficiency.
