Already our president-elect, Barack Obama, is preparing for his term as "President of the United States." He has already told us of a few things that he wishes to do and now he gathering up his presidential staff to help lead the way and accomplish those things that he has said he will do. Among them are three that are defiantly for consideration. They are Representative Rahm Emanuel, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, and Former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack. First, we have Representative Rahm Emanuel for White House chief of staff. Rahm Emanuel is known for his blunt and hard-charging political style and was even called "a skilled and relentless operator" and "a sharp-elbowed partisan whose renowned abrasiveness has rankled some within his own party," by the Washington Post. Emanuel has an undergraduate degree from Sarah Lawrence College and Master's in Speech and Communication from Northwestern University. He grew up politically in Chicago, working with the legendary Chicago Democratic machine of Richard M. Daley, and from there he became an advisor to President Bill Clinton. Emanuel then was elected to Congress from Illinois' 5th District in 2002. After reelection in 2004 he
