Unformatted text preview: Christian faith to dominate politically. I thought it was interesting how with donation and strict forcing of obedience, the church became so powerful. They set up colleges and influenced government. They could have easily become the dominating religion of the world if they had tried hard enough, which is scary. The Christian faith during the time of medieval is portrayed the same throughout this book and every other book I have ever read that mentioned it. It is always portrayed as the dominate figure over nearly everyone, and this chapter was no different....
