Unformatted text preview: war and the Black Death seemed to sweep across the nations. Perhaps the most interesting of all was the Black Death. The body when affected actually would take on a blackish tone and the person would eventually die. Sadly though, they did not have our magnificent form of medical achievement back in that era. Most did not know that it could be contained, and that the reason it spread the most in large towns is because the way they lived was so unsanitary. This chapter shows a new light on just how well we have it in this world today. So many complain how hard it is, but in reality we live in a paradise compared to the past. I would never want to have had to deal with the hardships that were taking place back then....
