Please pick something of interest out of the chapter and tell me about it. Did you like or dislike it? Why do you think it is important to your learning of humanities? I DO NOT want a summary of the chapter reading. If you turn in a summary I will count it as a zero. Renaissance artist were full of vigor to display nature in the form of art, in fact the book even says they were disciples of nature. It was extraordinary how they would put into detail everything that was ugly or beautiful in nature which would make it a beautiful art work. My favorite would have to be the one I have heard from in the past the most, which was Michelangelo. Although I do like Donatello since he sounds like a ninja turtle. Michelangelo was a brilliant artist. His masterpiece would have to be the Sistine chapel,

For example, most wander about the snake being cursed to crawl. Many speculate that a lizard was reduced to a snake when this happened, which cant be right since we have lizards today. He drew the Satan serpent as if it had arms and a head with a snakes body, which would make sense that God took away arms and not legs like many presume. For Michelangelo to come up with that just shows he had to be brilliant. Being an artist was actually one of the answers that I had given when asked, What do you want to be when you grow up? I had marveled at the art that I had seen even at that young an age. I, however, do not have the patience to do what these artists have done. It is to slow for me but it is still beautiful....
