Please check the moodle class for each website. The Roman Empire is kind of fascinating if you think about it. They are one of the first civilizations that constructed a strong and stable government and army, were brilliant in the arts and architecture, and had structure economy all at the same time. What was really astounding was their art and architecture.

Unformatted text preview: The one piece of architecture that really amazes me is the Colosseum. The Colosseum is one of the most beautiful buildings of old Rome, but it has experienced many earthquakes, but it still stands. It was an arena to watch gladiators, men who fought for sport till the death. It was so huge that it took ten years to build and most of it still stands. This site was nice because it was easy to navigate to the things that interest me the most. Although, I never could figure out what to do with a red button that it asked me to deal with as I first entered the site. However, Rome it just interesting, I would never have wanted to live their but I do believe I would have enjoyed visiting the era....
