Name: ____Patrick Bakley _____________________ Chapter: ______Chapter 9 ___________________ Web Activity: Web Activity- Each week you will be asked to visit a web site that I have provided over that  weeks reading/class martial. Each week you will visit the web site provided and then type of a  short 3-5 paragraph paper over the website. Please check the moodle class for each website. For one, the religion has strange names that are fun to pronounce. When you hear about Buddhism you compare it to Hinduism. In fact, it seems it is wrong to do so from looking at this website. Hinduism is more literal, and Buddhism is more on the side of deeper meaning.

Hinduism describes it like reincarnation, while Buddhism reflects it as a passing on and no view of an immortal soul. As far as I can see Buddhism is mainly a meditational religion where you practice good morals and staying healthy. I did not see where it gives you a promise of something after death, just how to live good lives till death. The website gave a lot of information that I had actually missed in the chapter. Although, from this website I have come to the conclusion that all Buddhism is good for is to help you live a morally sound life. What it offers is still over my head....
