Recently in Washington, four children were found dead in their own home with a delusional mother. Mrs. Jacks, the mother, was a widow, after her husband died of leukemia last year. She had no family in the area and was forced to raise her four children alone. She began to go through a crisis, and soon began asking for help in various places. She tried the local DHS department and four other care service agencies, to no avail. Nine months ago, a DHS agent eventually went to the home of Mrs. Jacks. The DHS agent became concerned after knocking at the door and no one answered. The DHS agent called her agency and the police, but nothing was done until a week ago. They had thought she had moved to Maryland, but were gravely mistaken, which cost four people their lives. Today’s farmers face a crisis of monumental proportions, while facing the question of how to produce their crops and livestock with the money and resources they have at their disposal? However, often our government is called in to assist producers during catastrophic times. It is done through various aid programs that are in acted through several agricultural laws and farm plans. Farmers today are faced with three looming questions
