Privacy Not  directly  guaranteed by the  Constitution Griswold v. Connecticut  (1965)  “found” a privacy right in the 9 th  and  14 th  amendments: 1. “… No State shall make or enforce any  law which shall abridge the privileges  or immunities of citizens of the United  States”  (14 th  amendment)

Privacy 1. “The enumeration in the Constitution,  of certain rights, shall not be construed  to deny or disparage others retained  by the people.”  (9 th  amendment)  So, privacy rights come from the 9 th   and 14 th  amendments.
