1. Using command traceroute (tracert in windows) can find the path to a  host. Briefly explain how traceroute is designed (hint, which IP header field is controled and how to get the feedback). A: The command makes use of TTL in the IP header. To trace the route to a  destination, the program creates a packet with TTL=1 and sends it out. When  the packet arrives at the first router, the TTL is decreased by 1 and becomes 0.  The router then drops the packet and sends an ICMP message to the source of  the packet. Therefore, the program learns the IP address of the first router on the  route. After that, the program repeats the same operation, each time increasing  the TTL by 1, until the destination is reached. 2. Given an IP address with network mask, answer    the following questions: a. What is the network address?
