To whom this may concern, How are you? My name is Eric Foo and I am an undergraduate volunteer at Shifa Community Clinic, of the Greater Sacramento area. In collaboration with the V Street Mosque in downtown Sacramento, Shifa Community Clinic provides primary healthcare services to patients who either have no form of health insurance or face barriers to health care access. The care that is provided is free, although donations are greatly appreciated. The ultimate goal of Shifa Community Clinic is to provide quality healthcare for the local underserved religious and ethnic minorities in Sacramento. The clinic has a continuing commitment to the Muslim and South Asian communities in Sacramento. We are in the process of establishing a Pediatric Clinic within Shifa and are in need of physicians. As a volunteer physician, you will be fully covered by UC Davis liability insurance. Also, you will receive an assistant faculty position at UC Davis and will have the opportunity to teach Medical students, Residents and Physician Assistants in training.
