Unformatted text preview: The IAT test I took was on race. I don’t really agree with the results of my test. Basically it said that I have a 27% automatic preference for white people than African American. The reason I don’t feel the results were valid is because of the way the testing was set up. I was trying to remember which key I was suppose to hit more than focusing on what picture I was looking at. To me, it just wasn’t a very legitimate way to test race. I think it is extremely difficult to accurately measure prejudice. Levels of prejudice is hard to quantify because what is prejudice and how prejudice something or someone is, is completely subjective. I think that studies, which try to accurately measure prejudice, can do a good job if they outline and define what prejudice is and all of the degrees of prejudice.
