Taarika George Ms. Riccio English Honors I Due 1 st November, 2004 Going Up! WOOOOOSSSHHHHH! Went the gold swivel door. I entered a sky-high hotel located in downtown Stockholm and waited for the door to swivel around again to pick up my aunt and my parents. We were sightseeing there and my aunt decided to take a friend along on her guided tour of the city, who was staying at this hotel. It was a fairly chilly day and I was bundled up from head to toe with sweaters and jackets and scarves galore. The sounds of the cars zooming past the hotel echoed throughout the lobby. I was around the age of four and had no idea where or what Stockholm was and why we had just entered this extremely fancy hotel. It was lined with maroon upholstered chairs and little coffee tables. From the ceiling hung a gigantic chandelier that glistened in the light and sent spots all over the walls. My aunt slowly walked over to the counter and told the woman at the desk that we were here to pick someone up. The woman at the counter kindly phoned our guest and informed us
