It informed me about photosynthesis and the parts involved in photosynthesis. It diagramed exactly how photosynthesis occurs. This book also taught me about how important plants are to all organisms and how different plants function. Morgan, Nina. The Plant Cycle . New York: Wayland Ltd. 1993. I learned how a seed germinates and how to identify the different parts of a germinating seed. I learned what key factors every plant needs to grow correctly. In addition this book showed me how plants reproduce and how they adapt to different seasons. It also talked about plant communities and how they are important to us. Pascoe, Elaine. Seeds and Seedlings . Connecticut: Blackbirch Press Inc. 1997. This book taught showed me a lot about seeds themselves. It showed me how seeds form and then what the inside of a seed looks like. I also learned how they grow and learned
