3 The President’s Challenge is for people that want to be more active more often. It is also about pushing yourself to be even more active, keeping your activities, and earning points. The challenge tests: Aerobic Fitness- the ability of the heart and lungs to deliver blood to muscles. Muscular Strength and Strength- enough to do normal activities easily and protect the lower back. Flexibility- the ability to move many joints through proper range of motion. Body Composition- not too much body fat especially around the waist. I can improve my aerobic fitness scores and continue to maintain aerobic fitness by participating regularly in moderate to vigorous physical activity. Moderate activity I need to work towards five days a week. Moderate activity is any activity that increases breathing and heart rate. Vigorous activity I need to work towards three to four days a week. Vigorous activity is physical activity that
