2 How Healthy Am I Eating Each food group provides different nutrients and there is no single food that contains all the nutrients our body needs. That is why it is important to eat from all the food groups to give our body the nutrients it needs daily. In one day I kept track of everything I ate to see just how healthy I was eating and how much I was eating from each food group. On March 28, 2011 I ate and drank the following: 1. Beef Jerky 1 cup servings – I ate 3 cup servings 2. Cocoa Puffs cereal 1 cup servings – 2 cup servings 3. Cream Style Corn 1 cup servings – 1 cup serving 4. Hamburger Helper Lasagna 1 cup servings – 2 cup servings 5. Mashed Potatoes 1 large (3-41/4 diameter) – 1 serving 6. Glasses of Milk 1 cup serving – 3 cup servings 7. Peanut Butter Sandwich 1 sandwich – 1.5 servings SCI/162
