All bus routes were to be timed and analyzed, and observations regarding driver’s behaviors while performing each route were necessary to achieve the objectives of developing suggestions on the current system, standards for driver’s work environment, and projecting how the upcoming metro line may affect bus utilization. Performing this project was necessary in order to make the system safer, more reliable, predictable, and benefit drivers with a better work standard.
