I agree with what most people are saying because gas prices are already so high that if they go with this expensive move we could be paying twice the amount we are paying now. If we keep drilling within our country we won’t be depending on foreign oil and we could possibly find new locations around us that could come in handy. The only thing that would get in the way of my thinking would be, if we were to free ourselves from depending on foreign oil it will bring us more jobs. Our economy is so bad that people are trying to find jobs and this could help. Even with that thinking I will still back up my view because I think it is just a lot easier to use our coasts that way we are spending our money and not sending it somewhere else. Another thing that gets in the way is “that they put some astoundingly special places and animals at risk, all for an unsustainable source of energy”(Cares2.com 2011.) There have been so many oil spills
