(Hint: most of these claims fail all of the criteria of adequacy). This is not a point to stress over, but you must be aware of what occurs the last few days of lecture even if you are not doing the extra credit assignment. Exam # 3 will take place on Friday, May 15 th (the last day of class).The exam is NOT cumulative. Section I 10 True False/Multiple Choice Questions * 5 points each = 50 points Section II: Venn Diagrams 2 Venn Diagrams/Arguments * 10 points each = 20 points Be able to reconstruct arguments as a standard form categorical syllogism; then, using the Venn Diagram, determine whether such arguments are valid.
