As a high school student at Classen School of Advanced Studies, I majored in the International Baccalaureate Program that they had available. This two-year program is one of the most rigorous programs worldwide. While I was going through this unique curriculum, I played two seasonal varsity sports, volleyball and basketball. Playing these sports taught me teamwork, leadership, and that every team is as strong as its weakest player. I also participated in the “Science and Engineering Fair” and “History Day.” I was required to do major research for the “History Day” competition and do a complex experiment for the “Science and Engineering Fair.” For both, at the end of the research or experimenting, I had to put together a high-end presentation for the judges. These activities forced me to work hard, put together a unique and brilliant presentation, and it increased my competitive nature. I spent my Sundays teaching the first grade Bible school class at my church after service. This wonderful experience of working with children gave me patience and humility. I love spending time with children and getting to spend that class time with them brightened my every week. A few of my community service activities include working at the Oklahoma City Food
