Scarlett Hood The problem that many people face when dealing with the concept of religion is that they always come to the same question, “How can there be evil in the world with an all powerful God in existence and how could he allow evil to continue to exist.” I believe that everyone has a certain amount of evil in them and it is whether they choose to utilize this ability or not. God does not want to force His people to believe in Him and love Him. He wants them to realize their maker and believe in him conditionally. Occasionally, He sends His people tests or temptations to test their true love. Tornadoes and natural disasters are the most common form of these tests. Some people choose to blame God and say, “How could he let this happen to me?” Others choose to let God help them rebuild and thank Him for allowing them to continue living.

That doesn't mean that I allowed it to happen. She knows, as far as unconditional love, I'll pick her up and I'll carry her. I'll try to heal her. I'll cry when she cries. And I'll rejoice when she is well. In all the moments of my life, God has been right there beside me. The truth of God's love is not that he allows bad things to happen. It's His promise that he'll be there with us when they do. Evil will always exist as long as good exists. There has to be a balance of both and God leaves the question, of whether we choose good or if we choose evil, up to His people....
