STUDY GUIDE FOR EXAM #1 COVERING CHAPTERS 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 The best way to study for the exam is to, read and study the course textbook (especially where it pertains to the below concepts), review your notes from the lectures, read and study the learning points at the end of the chapters, and review the lecture PPT slides. You should be able to explain the concept so that you will be able to identify it on an exam. The approximate spread of questions over the chapters is indicated below. Remember, this is an approximation of how the questions on the exam are divided up. The actual exam may result in plus or minus a question or two per chapter. The spread is simply to give you an idea of how the test is divided amongst the chapters and to better help you focus your study. It is always good to study with others, so you may wish to form a study group with your learning team. This has proven to be an effective strategy in the past. All of the questions on the exam will be multiple choice with the exception
