1. Describe elements of speech communication model and how they interact with each other during the communication process. There are seven elements of a speech communication process: Speaker, Message, Listener, Feedback, Channel, Context, Interference The speaker /sender encodes a message and sends it to the listener /receiver through a channel . The listener decodes the message and sends a feedback . The communication takes place in a context or a situation. During the communication process, there is a possibility of interference like noise or unclear message. 2. Apply the basic elements, the process, and key principals of communication to a specific situation, showing how each one affects the outcome of the interaction 3. What is a communication context? Context is the setting in which communication takes place. Describe four contexts that can affect communication a) Physical context ; also referred to as environmental context. It refers to the setting or the place where communication is taking place and can affect the content and quality of interaction. For example, one talks to a doctor about your condition at a bus stop.
