But not a game developer by training or experience Background in Telecom Ethical Philosophy was one of my majors 9/14/11 My Latest Adventure Least you think you are stuck studying ethics with a stogy old man Burning Man in the Nevada desert last summer. What do you expect from this class? 9/14/11 Textbooks- The Elements of Moral Philosophy by James Rachels. McGraw Hill, 2009 You can use an earlier version but you do so at your own risk. There are some questions on the midterm that are not covered in earlier versions. 9/14/11 Course Requirements One essay midterm test 20% Three Peer Review papers minimum of three pagesThese assignments will be posted on COL and forums will be set up to have students comment on the papers submitted by other students. 25% Students will write two Ethical Analyses Papers minimum five There will be a final project in lieu of a final exam. Students will present the personal Code of Ethics they have developed based on the Moral Theory they developed in the two Ethical Analysis papers. They will explain their justifications for their Code of Ethics and provide a full-fledged rationale for their choice of principles. 10% 9/14/11 Course Requirements There will be a final project in lieu of a final exam.
