Hinduism Hinduism is not only a religion, but it is a set of life values and goals to follow. It is the world’s oldest religion with over a billion followers making it the world’s third largest religion. Hinduism is a set of practices very unique and different from all other religions. It expresses life as a gift and living as an art. Everybody goes through a series of birth until they are born human. Once they have this divine birth, they gain the gift of intellect and can attain Bramhan. I believe that this is very important and everyone should try to do the right thing. Hinduism itself is so old that many philosophers believe it originated before the year 10,000 BC. The original name of the religion is unknown, but the term “Hindus” was introduced by Persians to mean across the River Indus or Sindhu. The religion itself is believed to have originated near the river in North India. The religion is supposed to be the most ancient and divine religion, and I believe it is. Hinduism is very diverse and there are no sub groups so it has many different
