Aziz Mallik Prof: Janet Newland UNIV112 Sept, 08,2010 DIVING PASSION My passion for diving and my career as a diver started when I volunteered in the Scientific Center of Kuwait. I used to sit down in front of the largest tank in the aquarium section every day. I was thinking about the aquatic life, the colorful creatures, and the beautiful sharks in that tank. Suddenly, an idea came to my mind, what if I can dive in that tank and be a part of that aquatic world, What if I can wear fins and breathe under the water. In order to answer these questions, I stepped over the tank, the place where divers feed the sharks, and emerged my hand inside the tank. I was so scared at that moment. Suddenly, I felt something hitting my hand; I looked down and saw a shark’s fin under my hand and that shark was waiting for me to feed him. After that day I decided to go to the diving center and register for beginner’s scuba diving course. I read the whole scuba diving book and took the scuba diving final test.
